1. QUIET TIME
Choose a relaxing environment for your stay.
If you are planning to stay in a crowded place for the majority of the days, even one night in a relaxing hotel or a massage in a spa or a calming bath can make a difference.
We decided on choosing a Riad vs. a standard busy hotel. Riad are traditional Moroccan houses converted in guest houses with private rooms and an interior outdoor courtyard.
It's usually run by locals where hotels are mostly big international organizations.
2. OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
Things like hiking, visit parks or city gardens, mountain or beach can relax you and put you in a better mood.
Besides the various walks in Marrakech Medina including le souk, we also visited some quieter areas.
There were many gardens to visit and did a full day trip hiking up towards the Atlas mountains including a dromedary ride for the joy of our little one 🐪😍
3. ENJOY WITH YOUR EYES
Take time off computer and cell phone, especially a good social media break.
Enjoy the experience!
Yes to photos as memories but enjoy the moment with your eyes instead through lens every now and then.
